About Me

I have had 4 amazing journies through home births with Marlene and Kaleem by my side; the latest being January 2011. In a nutshell, I choose to home birth; to nurse my children for as long as I can (there are added complexities being that I work full time away from home); to use homeopathic remedies for 99% of the sicknesses that we are faced with; to consider immunizations each year, but have not yet immunized; to home school and teach my children to be independent thinkers; and to do my best to listen to the inner wisdom inside of me. I am a firm believer that each of us do our best to make the best decisions we can with the information given at the moment. My desire is to be a support for and find support from other women.

A friend of mine and I have recently started a blog to do just that. Please check it out and leave some comments as you are inspired. http://listeningtoourhearts.blogspot.com/

About Me

Grandmother of 5. The last two were born at home with Kaleem and Marlene at hand. I honestly believe if our little Oliver was not born at home he would not have survived a hosptial birth.

I will be forever grateful for the calm, focus, quick action of Marlene and Kaleem. Today we have a beautiful full energy 2 year old wild child and all I can say is thank you a million times.
